Iver Johnson Tandem - Iver Johnson Arms Co. Fitchburg Mass.1898
With the woman's frame at the front, the combination tandem was a symbol of the “Gay 90s”. Think of the song Daisy Bell and a Bicycle Built for Two.This tandem is steered by both riders. Both sets of handlebars are connected by a rod, therefore it can be ridden from the stoker (rear) position by a single rider.
