The Rambler No. 1 by G & J was manufactured in Chicago in 1892. The Model 1 was an early pneumatic tired safety equipped with rear suspension, a pivoting bottom bracket, and a 30 inch diameter driving wheel. These improvements helped to combat the rough roads of late 19th Century America.
