A bicycle frame consisting of a top tube, down tube, seat tube, seat stays, and chain stays. This is the modern bicycle frame (1892 - to the present)

The first two wheeled bicycle absent of cranks. Propelled by walking or striding along.  Invented by German Baron von Drais and also used mainly by a wealthier class of young men referred to as "Dandies" in England. (1818-1821)
